The staff here is well trained and nice. When it comes to patient care they are number one. The place is clean and definitely takes good care of me. CNA Nettie shampoos my hair and sprays me with body spray. When it comes to food you can always have healthier food. They give you options if you want something different . The staff from the office are nice. Patient advocate comes in the room and checks on me daily to make sure I am okay. The social worker and case manager are nice and makes sure my appointments are scheduled. Doctors comes daily. PT and OT are great. This facility is clean and tidy. There's always someone who comes and cleans the room. Staff are always here to make sure i am happy. I would highly recommend anybody to come here and bring their family member in need of this kind of care. this is a good place for them . All staff are friendly.
I have been here for 2 weeks. The service is excellent. The food is fair because I'm on special diet. I started excising late. They should have started me sooner. All nurses are very friendly. A lot are young and new, however, very knowledgeable. They are all very friendly. Facility is very clean. Patient advocate is easy to talk to. My son's can come visit me as often as they want. I am happy with my stay and receiving great care.
Our recent stay at Kindred in Brea meet more of my expectations than I thought would be met before our arrival. Everyone has been more than accommodating, patient, and kind. The nurses were wonderful and the therapy from PT to OT has been amazing during his stay. But most important, the administration side, the case manager Janelli, went above and beyond. She really worked hard to be sure he went to the best place (rehab) possible and made the process of next steps manageable and understandable. All in all our experience was way better than I imagined. Thank you Kindred Brea team for all your hard work, patience, and heart.
The very kind and caring staff at Kindred Brea were integral to advancing my family member's recovery and rehabilitation from a tragic accident after transfer from the ICU at another facility. The dedicated staff across disciplines worked diligently over several weeks to position my family member well for the next stage of rehabilitation and they were a huge support to our family during a very stressful time of great uncertainty. Beyond the excellent staff, the facility is very clean and well managed. We are very fortunate to have had Kindred Brea as part of the recovery journey.
I recently left Kindred hospital on Veterans day. I was happy with the staff there. The attending RNs, the PT and OT staff was great. The food was good sometimes cold though. Patient advocate Veronica was awesome. She made my stay a lot more pleasant and went out of her way to meet my needs. I would recommend this facility to friends and family that are looking for continued health care coming out of the Hospital!
My daughter was at Kindred and recently went to a rehab in Houston TX. Janelli Sevellano, Director of Case Management was instrumental in this. She is a fantastic and organized the transport in a Medical Jet. Dr Thi was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help my daughter get into the Specialized Rehab. I will be forever grateful for these two women! Also the ICU nurses, Olive, Mae, Richard and Theresa were absolutely amazing. They were all so caring and really put their heart into caring for my daughter. Each one of these ICU nurses have great intuition and such a caring work ethic. There are others that were wonderful like the respiratory therapists and Physical therapists. Overall, a great experience and great care at Kindred Brea...
Come join!!! It's a good place to recover. Everybody here helps you when you need it. The food is great. I wish they gave me more food. Therapy is consistent and friendly. Patient advocate is kind and caring. Nurses are very nice. If you come in here you will receive great care. Highly recommend this hospital.
Therapy was probably the most difficult part of my stay here simply because I had to use muscles I have not used in a while. I have had good and bad experiences with nurses. For the most part the nurses are trying to put you in a position to get back to the mainstream. The cleanliness of the hospital was excellent. Patient advocate was very transparent and was always there to listen and check non me. I would recommend this hospital that might need this type of care.
